#627 - Celibate Christians - Trust the Bible - Obese Pastor
How can the Church support celibate Christians, gay or straight?
Should women be in ministry? What does Paul say about it and is it a disputable manner?
Why should we trust the Bible as an authoritative source of truth?
Gluttony is a sin right? Why then do we submit ourselves to a pastor who clearly seems to have a problem with food?
#620 - Lisa Fields - Jude 3 Project
Today Preston is talking to Lisa Fields.
Lisa is the founder of the Jude 3 Project (jude3project.com).
The primary mission of the Jude 3 Project is to help the Christian community know what they believe and why they believe it. Distinctive in its strong emphasis in equipping those of African descent in the United States and abroad.

#612 - Can You Not Sign the Nashville Statement and Be Saved?
Preston is in the basement answering your questions.
How do we write doctrinal statements on complicated issues, such as gender identity and transgender people?
What is a biblical or theological argument for the belief that we shouldn't pursue gender reassignment surgery? Why should we remain in our biological gender rather than the gender we identify with?
Preston is also answering more questions about the Nashville Statement. In what ways does Preston disagree with the Statement? In what ways does he agree? Why could this statement do more to divide us than unite us?
#597 - Back to Some Questions!
Preston has been working to establish an organization that is theologically sound in their teaching and yet provides practical guidance on questions related to sexuality and gender. The Center for Faith and Sexuality website is up. Go ahead and check it out and be sure to sign up for the newsletter.

Preston is also answering your questions. How do you engage with someone you greatly disagree with? Should you attend your Daughter's same sex wedding? Do I need to Tithe %10? What if I am in the ministry?
#595 - A Conversation with My LGBT Friends: Part 4
Today Preston is talking with Laurie Krieg. Laurie is married to Matt and the two of them together started Hole in my Heart Ministries. In their ministry they counsel in person and online (globally), speak nationally, and write blogs and books.
Laurie experiences same-sex attraction but is passionate about loving Jesus as well. She works to faithfully submit her broken sexuality to the lordship of Christ, and comes alive talking about how and why she does that.
#594 - A Conversation with My LGBT Friends: Part 3
Today Preston is talking with Nate Collins. Nate Collins is in Gay in his orientation but is also in a committed, mixed orientation marriage.
Nate is also the author of a soon to be released book titled All But Invisible: Exploring Identity Questions at the Intersection of Faith, Gender, and Sexuality. What does it mean to be gay ... and a Christian? Beginning with how the Bible describes sex and gender in Genesis 1-2, Nate provides a theological framework for conceptualizing gender identity.
#588 - Predestination, Election and Chris Speaks About BELONG
Preston is in answering questions about Predestination and Election and the "Augustine Allergy" that can turn many people away from the book "Two Views On Homosexuality, The Bible, And The Church".
Also, Chrissy Sprinkle joins Preston in the basement to talk about her new intentional young womens' group BELONG.
You can email Chrissy if you have any questions about it at chris@prestonsprinkle.com
#587 - You die between your confession and your dunk...still saved!?
What does Preston think of the HCSB and CSB Bible translations?
Is Baptism essential for salvation?
What does Paul mean when he says in Philippians 2, "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess"?
What do we do with the books that weren't included in the canon?
A married couple has no desire to have children. Can we totally separate sex and procreation?
#569 - Same Sex Relations - Is it Just a Difference of Opinion?
A listener has a friend who is attracted to the same sex but he is also a Christ follower who is committed to the authority of scripture. He once committed himself to celibacy but now, being in school, he is hearing many popular Christian teachers who claim that same sex relations are okay in the context of a committed monogamous marriage. Is this just a difference of opinion?
#567 - Affirming or Non-Affirming - Is it a Primary Issue?
Preston has said at many times that he is Non-Affirming (he believes in a traditional view on marriage and sexual ethics). How do we have communion with Affirming Christians when it appears they may be leading a generation into sin? Preston is wrestling with this question today. What should are relationship look like with Affirming Christians? Is this issue of Affirming or Non-Affirming a primary issue of the Christian faith? Can we agree to disagree?
