What is a biblical or theological argument for the belief that we shouldn't pursue gender reassignment surgery? Why should we remain in our biological gender rather than the gender we identify with?

Laurie experiences same-sex attraction but is passionate about loving Jesus as well. She works to faithfully submit her broken sexuality to the lordship of Christ, and comes alive talking about how and why she does that.

Today Preston is talking with Nate Collins. Nate Collins is in Gay in his orientation but is also in a committed, mixed orientation marriage. 

Nate is also the author of a soon to be released book titled All But Invisible: Exploring Identity Questions at the Intersection of Faith, Gender, and Sexuality. What does it mean to be gay ... and a Christian? Beginning with how the Bible describes sex and gender in Genesis 1-2, Nate provides a theological framework for conceptualizing gender identity.

What does Preston think of the HCSB and CSB Bible translations?

A married couple has no desire to have children. Can we totally separate sex and procreation? 

A listener has a friend who is attracted to the same sex but he is also a Christ follower who is committed to the authority of scripture. He once committed himself to celibacy but now, being in school, he is hearing many popular Christian teachers who claim that same sex relations are okay in the context of a committed monogamous marriage. Is this just a difference of opinion?

Preston has said at many times that he is Non-Affirming (he believes in a traditional view on marriage and sexual ethics). How do we have communion with Affirming Christians when it appears they may be leading a generation into sin? Preston is wrestling with this question today. What should are relationship look like with Affirming Christians? Is this issue of Affirming or Non-Affirming a primary issue of the Christian faith? Can we agree to disagree?
