As some of you know, I teach at a Bible College that offers debt free education. We believe that college debt cripples graduates from living out their God-given calling. That's why we do everything we can to offer a high quality, holistic, integrative theological education at the lowest price possible. Basically, each student pays 50% of the actual cost of tuition. The only way we can pull this off is by the support of several donors that support the school financially. Still, we have been running on a lean budget over the last few years. Sometimes...a bit too lean.
This is why I was so encouraged when I got this news a couple days ago:
Several Eternity Bible College donors have provided us with a matching fund of $50,000! That means any money you contribute between now and December 31 will be matched dollar for dollar.
All monies raised will go towards offsetting the cost of biblical education, so that students can receive high-quality biblical training without debt.
Let me be bold. We need your help. We're not just trying to offer yet another brand of Bible College education. We're helping raise up the next generation of Christians to be hyper-empathetic, crazy compassionate, vigorously biblical, shrewdly intelligent, theologically humble, and passionate about taking the good news of a risen Lamb to every fabric of culture both near and far.
We're raising up mothers and martyrs, bankers and barristers, missionaries and bartenders, pastors and pre-school teachers, all who herald the good news and incarnate the radical love of Christ in a culture that more than ever needs it.
